APDL Design Finds Talk and Exhibition

Design Finds is an intimate exploration of the nature of Queensland’s architecture, its past and inspirations.

For this event, Asia Pacific Design Library and State Library of Queensland’s Queensland Memory collections have collaborated with our community of local architects and creatives to delve deeply into SLQ’s collection asking them to get in touch with their inner-librarian!

Amalie Wright (Landscapology) and John Ellway (James Russell Architect) have curated some of their favourite items from the SLQ repository.

On display alongside these items, Amalie and John have generated their own creative responses to their findings and have reflected on their experience and creative process in creating new outcomes inspired by remnants of Queensland’s architectural past.

Join us for the talk and launch event or pop by the APDL Design Lounge during the Asia Pacific Architecture Forum to see the results.
