From tales of heroism to stories of defiance against all odds, stockmen were responsible for the many trade routes that stretch across the wide landscape of outback Queensland. They are and will always be an important part of Queensland history.

This signature event will celebrate the outback and honour the significant contribution of the stockmen to the development and growth of the cattle industry in Queensland. Guests will dine with local farmers and producers, share their history and engage in conversations about the changing face of the cattle industry in Queensland.

This event will also profile the changes of the farming industry through the story and achievements of OBE and its commitment to the provision of high quality organic food products for the families of the world.
