Cairns NAIDOC March and Family Day held on Friday 8 July 2016


The Cairns 2016 NAIDOC March was LOUD and PROUD, uniting under the slogan ‘Be Loud, Be Proud’.  The day was sunny; the march was colourful with t-shirts and flags. Official Launch of Winifred Fisher Indigenous Knowledge Centre (IKC), Cherbourg


On Monday, 4th July 2016, Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council commenced their NAIDOC celebrations with the re-opening of the Winifred Fisher Indigenous Knowledge Centre in Cherbourg.
