This real estate map from 1927 advertises 108 allotments of land for sale at the Glentanna Estate, located in the Brisbane northside suburb of Kedron. The allotments were situated along Gallagher Terrace, Alice Street, Rode Road, Gympie Road, Edward Street (now Lawley Street) and John Street (now Bromilow Street).

Prior to the sale extensive publicity was published in Brisbane newspapers.

“That beautiful paddock of Mr M.J. Gallagher’s, just past his residence, has been subdivided into building sites, and will be offered on the ground. This estate is situated within a couple of minutes of the tram terminus, and water and electric light are available. This is an excellent opportunity for home seekers and investors to secure a fine site in the centre of this most rapidly progressing district in Brisbane.” (Brisbane Courier, 25 June 1927, p.32)
