How did you first come to be part of the libraries?

I took a six-month maternity release position in Cunnamulla while travelling through Australia.

Can you share a memorable story from your time in libraries?

The excitement and energy when children figure out a specific coding problem, especially during the Lego sessions, is amazing; seeing the hypothetical lightbulbs turning on.

What do you love most about libraries?

I love the diversity in terms of projects, work opportunities and the clientele; being able to try new ideas. In a library, you will not just do one thing or always the same programs.

What do you think libraries need to do next?

They need to raise awareness about programs and projects, and keep up to date with technology and run programs and digital literacy projects.

If you were a library manager what would be the number one thing you would do?

I am a fan of any kind of technology and this would influence my decisions in choosing library programs.
