We are Queensland – grants available

Public libraries are eligible to apply for the We Are Queensland grants program, which will support Queenslanders to be more involved in their communities and encourage a society where everyone is respected and welcome to make a positive and valued contribution to the community.

Grants of up to $20,000 are available for Queensland-based community groups, Councils and not-for-profit organisations to deliver community-led initiatives. If you have an idea for an initiative that will create opportunities for families, communities or individuals to feel included and connected with the broader community—submit an application online now! Submissions close 9pm 11 August.

Queensland Government will roll-out a state-wide social cohesion program with We Are Queensland television and on-line advertising, along with a social media campaign which features young Queenslanders from different backgrounds and cultures, and promotes the benefits diversity brings to the economy.
