It’s time for VISION 2017 to be reviewed – and as part of the review of the vision for Queensland public libraries commissioned by the State Library of Queensland in collaboration with the Local Government Association of Queensland and the Queensland Public Library Association workshops are taking place across the Sunshine State.
Public library staff like you are invited to join playful, creative, provocative sessions hosted by researchers from the University of Southern Queensland’s Digital Life Lab, to help understand the impact of the current vision The Next Horizon: VISION 2017 for Queensland public libraries, and to explore what the public libraries of the future can, might, and should be.
Workshops will take place at number of locations across Queensland. Please visit PLConnect for more information. The more people who participate from across Queensland public libraries, the more relevant and effective the new vision will be. Other consultation methods will also occur including interviews and a questionnaire.
For further information, or to look at the participant information sheet, or contact the project leader, Dr. Kate Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Visit PLConnect for additional workshop venues and more information on the project and how you can get involved.
