PressReader connects readers to the world’s newspapers and magazines with over 7,0000 publications from 120 countries and 60 languages. You can get full issues of thousands of recent top newspapers and magazines just as they appear in print.

Queensland residents can join SLQ to access PressReader from home. Find free access to PressReader via the State Library homepage, simply type in PressReader in the OneSearch catalogue.

There are more than 3,500 full text Australian and international magazines to view online. Many magazines are in English but there are some titles in other languages.

PressReader has more than 3,000 Australian and international newspaper titles including:

Papers by the Murdoch Press including The Melbourne Age and The Sydney Morning Herald are no longer available from PressReader.

Readers can search by country or narrow their search to region for the newspaper they want. Alternatively, there is a search function to find all the papers that contain your keywords.

There are a number of menus and tools to find and customise your views. There is an option to set up an alert for when the next issue of your favourite magazine or newspaper is available.
