You can listen on the way to work, you can listen on your run, you can listen doing the ironing! Try audiobooks now, they’re a great way to catch up on the latest bestseller or popular author. Queensland public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres (IKCs) can borrow from the State Library of Queensland audiobook collection by completing the online form.
Here is a new poster for audiobooks from Wavesound to print and display. To find audiobooks on the online catalogue, search for the format audiobooks. Previously called Clipper, you can find Wavesound titles on the catalogue using either search term or just search for audiobooks under format.
There are more than 8,000 titles to choose from and this includes adult fiction, adult non-fiction and junior titles. Library members can select from CD, MP3 and Playaway format. Playaway is a compact all in one audio item. Playaway® is the simplest way to listen to an audiobook. Unlike CDs, or MP3, users do not need a separate player. Instead, Playaway comes pre-loaded and ready to use. Simply plug in earbuds, make sure the battery is in and enjoy.
If you’ve had your audiobooks for some time, why not refresh your collection now? When completing the online form for your audiobooks let selectors know what genre and format your customers prefer. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
