Burdekin residents young and old got to discover and explore new ways to use their iPads for art-making, photography and teaching over four free workshops at Burdekin Library. Cathy Hunt from Brisbane’s iPad Art Room visited the Burdekin to conduct the amazing free workshops for Burdekin residents.
Local educators attended a professional development workshop on Saturday, where they found out how to use iPads for teaching and learning in Visual Arts. Three workshops were held today for people of all ages.
Children got to create their own stop motion animations, followed by a Mobile Photography Skills session exploring various techniques for creating interesting compositions, effects and artworks and a Beginners workshop for Drawing and Painting on iPads.
Burdekin Library was delighted to be able to offer workshops for people to discover explore and unlock their potential in the wonderful world of art and technology.
