The basics of Lego Mindstorm for library staff

Lego Mindstorms

Are you interested in learning about the basics of LEGO MindStorm? Why not sign up for a free webinar?

The LEGO MindStorm EV3 webinar is for absolute beginners. We will explain the basics of building and programming the EV3 kit using a tablet, and introduce you to each sensor and how it can interact within the environment. By the end of the webinar you will have constructed a small robot that has been programmed to go through an obstacle course.

LEGO MindStorm EV3 webinars run for approximately one and a half hours and will include guides on building, programming, follow up exercises and cheat sheets to help you design a session in your library and Indigenous Knowledge Centre (IKC).

It is recommended that you have access to a LEGO MindStorm EV3 set and a tablet with the LEGO Educational app installed.

Webinar schedule:  (Both webinars will have the same content)

More coding and robotics webinars will be released throughout the year on the Public Libraries Connect (PLC) training calendar. To stay informed on upcoming webinars, subscribe to our STEAM mailing list
