Are you a member of a mobile library or outreach team? Would you enjoy the opportunity to network with peers on a larger scale?
November this year offers just that opportunity, in the form of the Reach Out 2018 forum. Reach Out 2018 is presented by the Australasian Mobile Library & Outreach Services Network (AMLOSN) and is the first ever symposium combining mobile library and outreach services.
Mobile library and outreach staff are core to library services and are vital to community well-being, but by their nature, can often work in small, specialised and somewhat isolated teams. Reach Out 2018 offers the opportunity of networking events to engage with colleagues from across the eastern states of Australia and from New Zealand. A diverse program of professional development is available in the form of workshops, panel discussions and keynote speakers, on topics as wide ranging as service delivery models, reviewing, renewing and revitalising your service and a ‘Making Masterclass!’
Reach Out 2018 takes place 26-27 November 2018 in Coffs Harbour, NSW and will be held in Conjunction with the NSW Public Libraries Association SWITCH 2018 Conference.
