What does Queensland’s creative future look like to you?

The arts generates civic pride, community identity

Does your library have a creative community?

The Queensland Government is developing a ten year Roadmap for the arts cultural and creative sectors, encouraging all Queenslanders to have their say. The arts, cultural and creative sector has great potential to connect communities, drive cultural tourism, create employment opportunities and affect positive change in all areas of society, from education to health and justice issues.

The Queensland Government is inviting the public and communities across the state, industry, business and all levels of government to share insights and gather a wide range of views on how the sector can best deliver positive social and economic outcomes for Queensland.

Arts Queensland is also coordinating regional forums and is supporting the arts and cultural sector to hold face-to-face consultations with artists and creative workers across all art-forms. You can also make a written submission. The consultation will inform strategic action planning and the future direction of Queensland Government investment so make sure you don’t miss this opportunity to share your ideas and experiences.
