State Library of Queensland’s Realising Our Potential Micro Grants Program provides a total funding pool of $50,000 for quick response funding to councils to deliver short-term, time-limited projects through public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres (IKC) across Queensland.

Applications must demonstrate how the Grant will address an immediate identified local need, have measurable outcomes and demonstrate how the activity, project or program will enhance local service delivery.

Projects should reflect one or more of the four objectives outlined in Realising our potential: A vision for Queensland public libraries:

  • Realising our potential
  • Deeply local outcomes
  • Extending our reach
  • Future focused workforce

You can download the Realising Our Potential Micro Grant Application Package from the Public Libraries Connect website.

Each application will be assessed upon receipt, and applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application within 20 business days following acknowledgement by State Library of receipt of the application.

If you have any questions please contact the Local Government Coordination (LGC) team on (07) 3842 9047 or lgc@slq.qld.gov.au

Micro Grants Program closes Thursday 28 February 2019  or earlier if budget resources are exhausted.
