The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), Library Policy and Advocacy Blog, is an informal forum for sharing ideas about key policy and advocacy challenges, as well as opportunities for libraries around the world.
It can be searched via a variety of tags covering topics including advocacy, policy, copyright, digital preservation, sustainable development and others.
For the blog, the IFLA have created a series called the 10 Minute Library Advocate; featuring a number of ideas to boost your libraries profile, and to connect with communities. The latest idea, ‘Learn a Great Library Story‘, comes from ALIA CEO, Sue McKerracher.
This is just one of a number of ideas featured on the blog, which are searchable via hash-tag #EveryLibrarianAnAdvocate
