Library and Information Week aims to raise the profile of libraries and information service professionals in Australia and showcase the many and varied resources and services that libraries provide to the community.
The event is organised by the Australian Library and Information Association to promote the value of reading and literacy, the importance of Australia’s book industry and the role of libraries.
The theme for Library and Information Week Truth Integrity, Knowledge recognises all the ways that libraries support and further truth, integrity and knowledge.

National Simultaneous Storytime
You can get involved by joining some of the activities on in this key library week including National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday 22 May at 11am. This year’s title is Alpacas with Maracas written and illustrated by Matt Cosgrove.
