Do you want to harness the goodwill and energy of the 2019 International Year of Indigenous Languages in your Community?
We invite public library and Indigenous Knowledge Centre (IKC) staff, and staff across the galleries, libraries, archives, and museums (GLAM) sectors to gain hands-on skills and knowledge in the preservation, revival and transmission of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages. Engage with your peers as we discuss the important question of what now for Indigenous Language? Learn how to use State Library collections and resources, be inspired by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language projects and discuss how you can incorporate languages in your work and working with your local communities.
A special concession price of $37.50 is available for Queensland public library and IKC staff. Book via the State Library of Queensland website.
