The Australian Libraries Copyright Committee copyright training for librarians and archivists will be held at State Library of Queensland on Friday 28 February. Training runs from 10am to 5pm.

The day is split into two distinct half-day sessions. Copyright Essentials in the morning will include Fair dealing, section 200AB, preservation copyright, document supply, licences, orphan works and TPMs.

Copyright Extended in the afternoon provides a deeper understanding of the latest developments for libraries and archives. You can book for one or both sessions. There will also be a special session with a local expert at the end of the Copyright Extended session. View the full Program.

The sessions are free to State Library staff, and for all ALIA, NSLA, CAUL, AGLIN, CAARA, ASLA and ASA members. Everyone interested in copyright for the cultural sector is welcome. Please register here to join us in SLQ Auditorium 2 for one or both sessions.
