This year Harvey Lister Chairman and CEO of AEG Ogden was named in the top ten of the 100 most influential Queenslanders and he’ll be speaking at our next Game Changers event on Wednesday 26 September.
There would be very few Queenslanders who haven’t encountered Harvey’s venues and facilities company AEG Ogden in some direct way – from the 2003 Rugby World Cup to the first day of the Ashes at the Gabba to the ARIA Awards.
In the Asia Pacific, the company operates 12 venues across three countries as part of the AEG global network of over 150 venues. In the last year, AEG Ogden venues have hosted over 2,977 events, welcomed over 6.7 million patrons and sold $233 million in tickets.
Under Harvey’s leadership many of the events and venues have become a part of Queensland’s collective memory.
AEG Ogden is also behind Brisbane Live a proposal to build a new 17,000-seat entertainment precinct over Brisbane’s Roma Street train station.
Ray Weekes, Chairman of The CEO Institute, will conduct an enlightening conversation with Harvey which will explore his business history, motivations, lessons on entrepreneurial drive, reflections on risk and reward and glimpses into the future for AEG Ogden and Queensland.
After the event, attendees can network with Harvey and other business leaders.
